Susan Claus

I am a writer and illustrator living just north of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. I have two grown sons, a husband who collects cannons, and own an unwise number of baskets. I am a children’s librarian by day, and a natural history nerd, social history nerd, and an on-and-off beekeeper the rest of the time.

I have a BFA in Illustration from Carnegie-Mellon University and an MLIS from the University of Pittsburgh.
